40-Hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations Program Overview
Our 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations program
satisfies the initial training requirements established
by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.120(e), for routine site workers
engaged in activities at hazardous waste sites,
corrective action sites or voluntary clean up actions.
The program provides basic knowledge of safe work
practices emphasizing worker protection against
hazardous materials exposure. Upon completion of this
course, workers are prepared for actual field experience
under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced
supervisor, per 29 CFR 1910.120, which is necessary to
satisfy OSHA’s initial training requirement.

40-Hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations
Refresher Program Overview
Our 8 Hour Hazardous Waste Site Operations Refresher
program satisfies the annual refresher training
requirements established by OSHA in 29 CFR
1910.120(e)(8), for routine site workers engaged in
activities at hazardous waste sites, corrective action
sites or voluntary clean up actions. The program
provides a review of safe work procedures emphasizing
worker protection against hazardous materials exposure.
24-Hour Emergency Response Program Overview
Our 24 Hour Emergency Response Activities program is
designed to train emergency response personnel according
to 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii). Under this OSHA standard,
emergency response personnel must initially receive at
least 24 hours of relevant emergency response training
to stop the release and restore the area to pre-release
conditions.

24-Hour Emergency Response Refresher Program
Overview
Our Emergency Response Annual Refresher program
satisfies the annual refresher training requirements
established by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(8) for
emergency response personnel (hazardous materials
technicians - level 3) who respond to chemical spills
for the purpose of containment, clean up and restoration
of the work area. The objective of the training program
is to provide spill team members with classroom and
field exercises in order to remain competent in basic
emergency response techniques.

Incident Command Program Overview
Our On Scene Incident Command (OSIC - level 5) training
program satisfies the training requirements established
by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(v) and is intended for
those individuals who will assume control of an incident
scene and who, according to 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(v)
have at least 24 hours of training”, and have competency
in: implementing your incident command system and
emergency response plan. These individuals understand
the hazards and risks associated with employees working
in chemical protective clothing; decontamination
procedures; and implementing the local, State and
Federal Regional Response team.

Hazard
Communications Program Overview
Our Hazard Communication Program satisfies the
requirements established by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.1200.
The Program is designed to ensure that the hazards of
all chemicals are evaluated and that this information is
transmitted to employers and employees. To accomplish
this, OSHA requires that the chemical manufacturer
assess the hazards of each substance they produced and
provide information about the hazards to the consumer
through labels and material safety data sheets (MSDS).

First Responder
Operations Level I Program Overview
Our First Responder Operations Level I satisfies the
initial training requirements established by OSHA in 29
CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i). First responders at the Awareness
level may respond to incidental spills but will be
trained to determine if an outside contractor will
respond to the release of hazardous substances. They are
trained to respond in a defensive fashion without
actually trying to stop the release. Their function is
to contain the release from a safe distance, keep it
from spreading, and prevent exposures.

First Responder
Operations Level II Program Overview
Our First Responder Operations Level II program
satisfies the initial training requirements established
by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(ii). First responders
respond to releases of hazardous substances as part of
the initial response to the site for the purpose of
protecting nearby persons, property, or the environment.
They are trained to respond in a defensive fashion
without actually trying to stop the release. Their
function is to contain the release from a safe distance,
keep it from spreading, and prevent exposures.
To ensure that trainees will be able to transfer the
skills and knowledge from the course to the job, the
practical exercises will simulate their actual jobs or
tasks as closely as possible.

Hazardous Waste
Management Program Overview
Our Hazardous Waste Management for Generators program is
intended for all employees handling and managing
hazardous waste. The 8-Hour course is customized for our
clients and incorporates individual State hazardous
waste generator requirements; segregation, labeling;
container management and Department of Transportation
(DOT) requirements and waste shipment paperwork.
The program instructs employees how to perform their
duties in compliance with the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) 40 CFR 262 generator standards.

Hazardous Materials Handling Program Overview
Our Hazardous Waste Handling program is intended for all
employees handling hazardous waste. The 4-Hour Hazardous
Materials Handling and DOT Awareness training program
satisfies the requirements in 40 CFR 262.34 & 265.16, 49
CFR 172.704(a)(1) & (2).

Confined Space Entry and Rescue Program Overview
Our Confined Space Rescue program is intended for
personnel who enter confined spaces during emergencies
for the purpose of effecting entry-rescues. This program
is designed to provide initial hands-on practice for
simulated rescue operations from actual or
representative permit spaces. Rescue personnel,
according to 29 CFR 1910.146 (k)(1)(ii), shall receive
training to perform their assigned rescue duties and
shall also receive the training required of "authorized
entrants" under paragraph (g) of the same standard.
Additionally, rescue team members must be trained in
basic first aid and CPR, which shall be conducted and
documented under a separate training curriculum.

The Ten Hour and or the 30
Hour General Industry Outreach or Construction training
programs in Occupational Safety and Health Standards is
designed to train employees and employers how to
determine their rights and responsibilities to 29 CFR

Powered Industrial
Truck (Forklift) Program Overview
Our Powered Industrial Truck program satisfies the
initial training requirements established by OSHA in 29
CFR 1910.178. The Program describes Vehicle and
Environmental training topics for employees in general
industry, construction, shipyards, marine terminals and
long shoring operations.
The program shall be customized for your workers, and
will be performance-based per OSHA.
Classroom instruction will be combined with hands-on
training.

Boating Safety &
Boom Deployment Program Overview
Our Boating Safety & Boom Deployment program provides to
those individuals who have been trained at a minimum at
the “first responder” according to 29 CFR
1910.120(q)(6)(ii) with additional training per OPA 90
as it relates to hazardous materials release on water
for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property,
or the environment. Training will include Boat Handling
and Safety, Boom Deployment, Properties of Oil,
Hypothermia and Boom Decontamination. Students will also
receive Massachusetts State Boating Licenses.

Program Overview
Our 4-Hour Fall Protection training program satisfies
the training requirements established by OSHA in 29 CFR
1910 Subpart D and is intended for all employees who in
the course of their daily activities utilize fall
protection equipment or work on ladders or platforms.
The course is customized and teaches employees how to
perform their duties in compliance with the General
Industry Standards related to Walking & Working
Surfaces.

Arc Flash
Awareness/Electrical Training Program Overview
Our Electrical Safety/Arc Flash Awareness program
satisfies the training requirements established by OSHA
in 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S, OSHA’s Lock Out / Tag Out
standard (29 CFR 1910.147) and NFPA’s Arc Flash standard
(70E) and is designed for employees who perform repair
or maintain electrical equipment.
The program provides participants with classroom
instruction about the electrical hazards in their

Hearing Protection
& Personal Protective Equipment Training Program
Overview
Our Hearing Protection and Personal Protective Equipment
Training Programs satisfy the training requirements
established by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.95, 29 CFR 1926.101
and 29 CFR 1910.132 & 133.
OSHA requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
to reduce employee exposure to hazards when engineering
and administrative controls are not feasible or
effective in reducing these exposures to acceptable
levels. The program addresses the hazards present; the
selection, maintenance, and use of PPE.

Respiratory Protection Training Program
Overview
Our Respiratory Protection Program satisfies the
training requirements established by OSHA in29 CFR
1910.134. A qualitative fit test will be conducted using
air-purifying respirators (APRs) and will be accompanied
by a form that will certify that the fit testing was
completed during the training.

Incipient Fire
Training Program Overview
Our Incipient Fire Training Program satisfies the
training requirements established by OSHA in 29 CFR
1910.155 & 157(a). The Incipient Stage Fire Fighting
program familiarizes the participant with suppression
techniques and the safe handling and operation of fire
equipment.
Students will be able to identify the class of fire and
to make a determination as to what suppression will
work. Proper use of extinguishers and maintenance of
equipment will be discussed in depth.

Trenching & Competent Person Training Program Overview
Our Excavation & Trenching Competent Person program
satisfies the training requirements, established by OSHA
in 29 CFR 1926.651-652 and Subpart P. for supervisors
responsible for excavations greater than five (5) feet.
The program provides a review of safe work procedures
emphasizing worker protection against cave-ins.

Lock Out Tag Out
Training Program Overview
Our Lock Out Tag Out program satisfies the training
requirements established by OSHA in 29 CFR 1910.147.
This program will cover the minimum performance
requirements for the control of hazardous energy as it
relates to the servicing and maintenance of machines and
equipment in which the unexpected energization or start
up of the machines or equipment, or release of stored
energy could cause injury to employees.
