Hazardous Waste Management for Generators
 

• The 8-Hour Hazardous Waste Management for Generators provides students with the working knowledge of the regulations governing the identification, transportation, storage and disposal of hazardous wastes. The course provides detailed information on RCRA regulations and includes topics on proper packaging, labeling and marking requirements. The filing of manifests, operating logs and spill reports and the training requirements for emergency response will also be discussed.
  
  Students who should attend include plant managers, corporate executives, environmental compliance managers, supervisors and employees of organizations generating and accumulating hazardous waste. The program is intended for large quantity generator and storage facility personnel.
  
  Upon completion of the training, students will receive a certificate in accordance with
  40 CFR 262.34 & 40 CFR 265.16.
